Deborah Evans Hogan 

Deborah started with us in February 2009. Her background is diverse and she brings many gifts. An ordained minister, for over twelve years Deborah is known in the Newburyport as The Amethyst Light Ministry, a teaching and healing interfaith ministry. As a REIKI Master Teacher and spiritual leader, she has founded three healing centers and taught over 200 students REIKI. She was one of the first energy practitioners welcomed in pre-op, post-op and surgery in many Boston hospitals; as well as Anna Jaques. Prior to her intentional spiritual path, Deborah worked in nursing home management and taught business organizational skills at Northern Essex Community College.  She has produced health fairs as well as her own cable television show, “Your Alternative Health Choices”, which aired for over four years in twelve communities. Deborah has utilized chiropractic care for herself and her family for over 20 years. Her new part-time position with us is perfectly aligned with her healing ministry and management skills; we welcome her to the family. In her spare time Deborah is an artist and writer. Deborah has an adult son and resides with her husband in Georgetown.
